I need some help to generate an animation from Pro/design animation for company's presentation.

I have Proe 2001. The animation sequences I like to setup are rotating a model from ISO-Top-Side-Front-ISO-Zoom_in-Zoom_out. Followings are my problems.

1. I can not find Angle or ISO predefined options in the View@Time pull down window. How can I change view from Front view to ISO view in the animation sequence?
2. How can I setup a Zoom_in and Zoom_out sequences?
3. Why did model itself rotated several times and then started the sequence I setup after I started the animation?

Your kindly help is appreciated!

The ISO view is not called Isometric in the predefined Pro/E views but the Standard or Default view will be Isometric as long as your Environment Standard Orient option is set to Isometric.

You can set this as a config option
orientation Trimetric, Isometric or User_Defined option which uses the options x_angle and y_angle in config.pro to set rotations.

Orientation User_Defined along with
x_angle Value &
y_angle Value to set a specific Angle 3d view.

The best way to manage the creation of views is by using Reorient.
View > Orientation > Reorient

There are three options that can be selected from the Type pull down menu Dynamic Orient, Orient by reference, and Preferences.

Orient by reference is the default selection which will prompt for two directional references to face front and right or any other combination much like the reorient in drafting or when setting a sketch plane.

Dynamic orient is probably the best tool because you can use sliders to control orientation either by Horizontal Vertical and Rotation normal to screen or by using the Green Red and Blue spin center directions to control rotation.

If you orient by spin center and don't switch it back to the screen orient default you'll notice a change in the way the model will rotate when using your middle button to spin the model so always return to your preferred method of normal orientation before going back to modeling.

The Preferences Orientation type will allow you to enter specific x_angle and y_angle values and preview the result which is a lot easier than editing your config.pro.

Finally to get the zoom in zoom out views use dynamic orient Zoom Slider which will keep the view centered as you zoom in and out instead of focusing on cursor location.

In all of these Orientation Dialogs there is a list of views along with a Name box where you can enter and save view names like ISO_IN and ISO out and save them so they'll be available for Animation view@time.
