Programs similiar to cosmosworks

Are there any programs out there that will do assy's that is less expensive? I need to get familiar with this type of software to justify the extra expense, but my extra time seems zero right now. Also, how does cosmosworks stack up against programs like Ansys? I have sworks and use the cosmosexpress version, but it seems a bit lacking. Anyway, recommendations will be appreciated.

There are probably a bunch more in that list.
I would suggest Cosmos as the entry level since you already have SW. If you outgrow that Abaqus is my preference for many reasons. Hope this helps.
