I would like to know if there is an easy way to project lines onto a Lattice model. I have created a lattice model of the existing ground and want to project the lines of a proposed roadway onto it. The problem is that the lattice model is composed of numerous individual shapes and is not one large surface. I can project the lines onto each individual shape using the project trim tool, but this would take forever to do it one shape at a time over the entire lattice model. I can't seem to stich all of the individual shapes together to make one surface. My computer wants to "lock up" when I attempt this. I'm guessing due to the large number of shapes. I would appreciate any advice.

I would just draw a "SNAPPED" linestring across your model.
Then just use the "Power" extend tool.
This should allow you to pick the line string and then allow you to drag a fence-line across the items you wish to extend - in one shot!

Hope that helps!
