Project Server Notification Issue

I just inherited a project from my co-worker. I have taken the ownership of the file using Admin feature, however when some of the resources send their task updates to project server using PWA(Project Web Access), the updates still go to the OLD PM.
Please help!

You need to republish the assignments and become the owner.

Within Project, click on Collaborate, Publish, Republish Assignments, click on the box to "become the owner of these assignments", click on OK.

Once you complete these steps, any updates that were submitted that went to the old PM will now show up under your Updates tab within PWA.
