Propagation Software

I am trying to locate propagation software. I would like something geographical where I can input the parameters, Ant. Gain, Ant. Height, for both Xmit and Rcv site etc. and obtain a coverage pattern. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't think you'll find something friendly and cheap.

You may just need some simple Excel spreadsheet info to start out.

What are you trying to do? Set up a link with standard wirelss hardware?

Most of the above are related to HF over the horizon.

If you're interested in VHF and terrain, then try this search:

Replace the search term 'software' with 'freeware' and you still get thousands of hits.

There may be some web-based applications out there somewhere.

I've used Radio Mobile quite a bit for coverage calculations. It is free and generally very easy to use once you get the hang of it. You can get more info and download it from:
