I am building a pressure system made up of 2 blowers mounted onto a metal skid assembly.
What is the proper method to gound the blowers onto the skid using a standard ground lug ? I am asking what sequence of components (washer, star washer, ground lug, lock washer, etc..) should I use when installing the grounding lug ?
Should it be something like this (starting at the base metal):
-base metal
-washer
-ground lug
-lock washer
-nut
Also - I am told that paint and hot dip galv. must be removed from under the grounding lug - any special considerations in doing this ?
Thanks for any input
