I'm currently working on a presentation for the workers at a new facility. My subject is proper installation, orientation and required OSHA clearance, what I'm looking for are examples of proper and improper installation or information that will let them walk away with a little more knowledge that they came with. I have put together a graphic showing the basic requirements but would like to give them more.....Can anyone help me......Thanks

There are some interesting articles here:

Also, a manufacturer's installation and maintenance manual would be a good reference for you.

And one tip from my experience, in Mastercard format:

Cost of new 8" 250# Cast Iron Stop Check Valve: $500
Cost of Installation: $40/hr
Long Distance Phone Call to Register Complaint: $5
Airfare for field service call: $450
Rental Car, gas: $75
Hotel: $100
Scissor Lift rental: $200
Look on customer's face when I tell them the valve is installed backwards: priceless!
