Per NFPA 13 section 8.6.2.1.2.1 it states that the protection area of each sprinkler in the small room shall be the area of the room divided by the number of sprinklers.
For example I have a 12'x11' patient room with 1 head in it, so in my calcs I calculated minimal coverage of 150sf. BUT, due to the location of the head on my drawing I will over space the 150sf that I calculated.
IS that allowed if I use this rule?
Thanks,
