Proxy Information Dialog Box 2

I have a few drawings in our engineering department that, when opened, a Proxy Information dialog box appears. Why does this pop up, and how do I get rid of it?

The reason I get the dialog box is when the drawings have been created/edited in different versions of CAD. To get rid of this all you have to do is type in PROXYNOTICE at the command line and set it to 0 (zero).

command: PROXYNOTICE
Enter new value for PROXYNOTICE <1>: 0

0 = OFF
1 = ON
