Hello,

this is another questions on pschrometric charts1-

1- Will the "artwork" be different between schrometric charts with 75 FDB & 50% RH and pschrometric charts with 78 FDB & 50% RH?

2- I have here a space where the internal temperature is at 80 FDB & 50% RH, where should the alignment point be here?

Thanx

Quantum2:

Perhaps I was not clear in my earlier explanation. There is no "alignment point" on the psychometric chart. Thta point is an "arbitrary" function of your design point! The rest of the psych chart is the same: It's just a chart of the properties of moist air.

If you were designing a walk-in cooler for lettuce, your design point might be 45F and 70% RH (just an example, which may not be right for lettuce)

So in your present design, 80F and 50%RH is wher you want the process to end up. I guess that's what you could say the "alignment point" is: You plot your process; whatever it is: heating without moisture addition, or cooling with moisture removal or mixing of two airstreams and you want to end up at your design point or "alignment point".

The back of your chart should have examples on it to help you understand this better than I have just explained.
