Will placing a Pressure sustaining valve on an activated sludge 36" pipeline lead to a maintance headache? I am interested in hearing forum members experience on this.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you use a pressure sustaining valve designed for sewage, you should have no problem.

However, one would expect a valve that size to have significant cost and one would typically design a system so that a pressure sustaining valve would not be required.
