Hi,
I want to run a long cable (>20m) to a 4 wire pt100 do i need to use a special sort of cable? accuracy +-1degree celcius is ok.

Nope not with a four-wire and 20m.

Although.. Depending on the environment, you might want twisted shielded pairs, unless it's a low noise area.
