This is hard to explain but I have inherited a customer design part that I have to modify and I'm struggling with it! Customer designed an entire assembly within one part, as separate bodies. Problem is that the bodies are linked to each other and to "master bodies". This will take a while to describe...so please be patient because I do need some help!

(This is a very simplified version)
Body 1 - Cup Upper
Body 2 - Cup lower rear ambient - linked to body 4 and containing body 5
Body 3 - Cup lower front ambient - linked to body 4 and containing body 6
Body 4 - Cup Lower Master Ambient - extrapolated off body 1
Body 5 - this is a GROUP of bodies - containing body 7 in different rotations to attach to body 2
Body 6 - this is a GROUP of bodies - containing body 7 in different rotations to attach to body 3
Body 7 - fixing element

What I need to do is create new bodies 2,3, and 4 for a non-ambient version - but they also need to fit body 1. My goal is that any time I change body 7 and the new version of body 4, it updates in all the bodies without affecting rotations, etc.

We usually design each part in it's own CATPart, so this has me stumped. Can I somehow publish Bodies 5 and 6 and have them bring along updates to Body 7? I tried publishing them but it brought body 7 in as parameterized, which means double the design work anytime I need to make a change. Not the end of the world but I'm afraid I might miss changing something down the line.

Oh and everything was created using surfacing and extrapolations so any time I try to update something, it wrecks features in the associated bodies. Love my customer.....!!!!
