Hi guys,

I am performing anchorage calculation using the ACI 318-08 appendix D.

The type of bolt that I am using is from DIN 529 (type A), very similar to a hooked bolt.

The pullout strength determination (D.5.3) is Np = 0.9f`c*eh*da, where 3da <= eh <=4.5da. But the dimesions from my anchor bolt specified at DIN 529 do not attends the dimensions conditions 3da <= eh <=4.5da.

How should I calculate the pullout strength of a anchor bolt from DIN 529 (type A)?
