pulsation choke tube in vessel

The task is to dampen pulsations of a compressor between stages using a choke tube with a well-rounded entrance. The variables would include diameter and length of the choke tube with a limited pressure drop around 1psi.

I have referenced Perry's chemical eng handbook (P6-22) along with a number of textbooks.

Thoughts and experiences welcome.
