How to decide velocity on pump discharge and suction side of any fluid ? Is it depend on viscosity of fluid..? If yes.. then how..?

Calculation of pump suction and discharge velocity is elementary .... all you need is the massflow rate and the pump's inlet/outlet diameter.

Viscosity of the pumped fluid does not affect the velocity, It does affect the proper pump selection, style, pipe sizing and motor hp.

What is it that you are trying to do ???
