Does anyone out there know of a rule of thumb method of estimating the costs of construction/installation of pump stations (water pumping) beyond pump selection?

The pump station being referred to has the following details:
Capacity range (40 to 55 cfs)
Pressure range (140 to 180 feet)
Use (irrigation pumping)
General Area (U.S. in Montana State)
Built on site or manufactured (whichever is the most suitable)

Hire an engineer with plenty of experience in that type of station. Describe what you want and the engineer might be able to give some estimates, or more likely the engineer works up a very basic description and sends it to some qualified contractors who would provide budget estimates.
