Pump terms

Hello , i am in a batch Industry. Wanted to know regarding some pump terms.
The flow that is reqd for transferring from one tank to other that we get from a BFD/PFD that is the normal flow ? Then what is the rated flow of a pump ? The flow/head mentioned with the tag number all are rated? And the one we get from material balance is the normal/operating flow. Am i right ?

IMO, all these questions are good and valid to the person, who gave them to you, to answer them. You should clarify them with the person for a clear data per your questions.
