Pumping/mixing radioactive slurries

I'm looking for methods of mixing a tank of radioactive settled sludge, for periodic release of hydrogen, and also for methods of retrieving (hydraulically) the sludge out of the tank at a later date. Can anyone help?

We have addressed this issue for several U.S. Dept. of Energy facilities, and have expert reports available concerning the hydrogen issue and physical, chemical, and aerosol issues related to sludge mixing, settling, and retrieval. Would you please explain the previous statement:
"I'm looking for methods of mixing a tank of radioactive settled sludge, for periodic release of hydrogen...". Is this hydrogen released through radiolysis? How does mixing the tank affect hydrogen release?
