Hello, does anyone know of anywhere I can find a good worked-out example of how to checking punching shear on an L-shaped corner column supporting a non-prestressed concrete flat plate?

Thanks.

I expect any good text book would cover punching shear. For an L-shaped column, take a look at the commentary to ACI 318-02 11.12.2.1 for the perimeter and other parameters. That is if your governing code references the ACI for use. You may also try the PCA's Notes on ACI 318-02.

As what UcfSE states, PCI's Notes on ACI 318-02 has a worked example (Ex 16.2) of a L-shaped column for punching shear capacity BUT it is an interior column. You will need to modify your shear perimeter to account for corner effects.

Thanks guys.

But more specifically, I was hoping to find a worked-example that shows how to find the shearing stresses caused by unbalanced moments (obviously the direct shearing stresses are simply Vu/bod) on an L-shaped corner column on such an unusual non-square perimeter...like this:
