Dear all Professinal engineers
I am sorry to bother you this trivial question. I tryied to establish procedures of purging and draining of batch reactor after last batch.
The procesure is following ( and drawing is atttached)
* The Reactor ready to purge( but I am not sure DO I HAVE TO ISOLATE THIS REACTOR CAUSE IT HAS MANY INLET VALVES)
* Open XV-01.
* Open HV-02 100% ( not sure why do I have to put this recirculation valve fully open)
* Close XV-10 and XV-11 (transfering line to the next vessel for treatment)
* Switch PIC-75 to automatic mode at 1.5 barg.
* Open XV-76 and XV-75 (nitrogen to Reactor)
* Wait PIC-75 reaches 1.5 barg, switch it to manual (close PV-75)
* treatment vessel is in vacuum: open XV-26 and XV-23 (vacuum to Vessel, I wonder if put this vessel in much higher vaccum, do we can get more stuff from reactor?)
* Wait until PIC-26 reaches 650 mbara and close XV-26 and XV-23
* Open XV-10 and XV-11
* Open XV-21(post-treatment inlet)
* Observe the increase in post-treatment vessel pressure (PIT-01) until it reaches 1.05 barg
* Open XV-26 and XV-27 (treatment Vessel vent to scrubber)
* Wait Reactor pressure PI-07. PV be less than 0.2 barg
Repeat the last 10 steps twice.
* Close XV-11 and XV-10
* Pressurize Reactor: Switch PIC-75 to automatic mode at 1.0 barg.
* treatment vessel in vacuum: open XV-26 and XV-23 (vacuum to Vessel)
* Wait until PIC-26 reaches 650 mbara and close XV-26 and XV-23
* Open XV-A (drain)
* Open XV-B (drain)
* Open XV-11 and XV-21
* Wait Reactor pressure PI-007. PV be less than 0.2 barg
Repeat two times
* Close XV-76 and XV-75 (nitrogen to Reactor) ( I wonder do I have to CLOSE ALL VALVE THAT OPEN BEFORE?)
* Panel operator shall open XV-C (ODR,organic drain) and request field operator to check Reactor drainage
* Panel operator shall open XV-E (EDR,effluent drain) and request field operator to check Reactor drainage
* Field operator shall confirm the Reactor is empty
I am sorry to put the flow diagram in this ms. painter (there is no MS. software installed in the PC I used)
Thank you very much for your kindly help and advice.
