I am trying to model a steel deck attached to a steel frame in SAP2000. This model is supposed to model a roof system. Instead of the bolts used in the actual test, I am using non-linear plastic links to attach the top surface to the frame.
In the actual test, I have cyclic loading with max frame displacement of 220mm, to model this, should I use Time History analysis or Pushover load case (displacement controlled)?
It would be great if someone helps me out with this.
