Sorry to spam this forum.
I'm attempting to use a pushover analysis and watched this tutorial: which was very helpful. I have no problems running the analysis, however I am uncertain as to why the tutorial recommends a scale factor of -1 (see the attached link). Is this common practice or would something else be more appropriate? Any insight into what this scale factor is actual doing within the program would be helpful.
