Dear Sir,
i need the assistance from the PV Elite expert here in this forum. And thank you very much for your assistance.
Currently, i was asked to do preliminary calculation for Div 2 Pressure Vessel, the vessel will be installed in existing FPSO.
My client gives some load cases (8 load cases) to be considered, and this is quite make me confuse of how to input them in PV Elite.
for example :
Case 1 : i have to input (consider) normal wind load as per Asce Code
Case 2 : i don`t have to consider wind load but i have to consider Blast Load. As i know, Blast Load can be input as Wind Load in User Defined Mode.
My question :
1. how to input 2 cases of wind load with different type in one vessel ?
2. similar with above but this about motion load. Please correct me if i`m wrong, this load is to be input in Seismic Load under G Loading Mode, so i have to input the motion / acceleration in x,y and z direction. Case 1 and case 2 have different value of the motion, kindly advice also how to input it in PV elite.
