It is our debate with our coworkers that PWHT is another kinds of NDT (non destructive testing).

As we know, PWHT will align microstructure of metal.

Can we consider PWHT as NDT testing of pipe?

NDE shall be done before or after PWHT to verify the soundness of metal or weldments. PWHT is not testing techniques. To relieve Residual stresses and to get original properties
