Materials of Construction for a exchanger (shell side) is 1.25Cr-0.5Mo + clad 321/347 Stainless Steel (3mm), which is served in H2S and H2 condition.
Normally, we need PWHT for the base materials (1.25Cr-0.5Mo). However, PWHT is usually not required for Stainless Steel. How can the manufacturer do to satify the PWHT requirement? Can we do PWHT for the whole exchanger?
Or can we use 1.25Cr-0.5Mo + 321/347 Stainless Steel overlay and PWHT?
