Pyramid icons in the feature tree

I have received a couple of part files from customers recently that have pyramid shaped icons in the features tree that are simply named "Boolean". These features are not editable. What process or tool produces these features?

They are unparameterized parts.
Came from an importation (IGS or STEP or Parasolid, etc.).
