I'm not a bioengineer, i am a paitient though... i recently returned from europe where i had a pyrocarbon implant put in to replace the proximal pole of the scaphoid this option seemed to be the only alternative to four corner fusion. My question is if any knows why this procedure has not caught on here in north america?...Any comments, discussions or info is much appreciated.
