Can any one suggest any good indepth book on QS practice

There are a lot of good books on the subject, but the one I used the most for all around reference is "The Building Estimator's Reference Book" by Frank R. Walker Co. It covers all aspects of construction, including quantity surveying, from the contractor's point of view.
