Has anybody had any experience or know anything about the quasi-turbine (
It seems like an interesting concept, and being a Rotary guy myself, this design adresses alot of the Wankel's shortcomings.

I think they are stretching way too far in comparing that to a turbine.

I still see a sliding wiper/seal between combustion chambers, similar to the Wankel rotary.

I see all the disadvantages of a rotary, such as sliding seals, side seals, very high surface area to displacement ratio and the extra complexity of the rotor offsets the lack of a crank.

Rotating mass might be slightly lower.

Their technical page is quite funny, unintentionally. They seem intent on dissing every other form of engine, without even understanding what is going on. The section on car engines is complete tripe.

I struggled to find any numerical claims about efficiency, or reliability, or indeed any evidence that this thing has even completed one revolution under its own steam. Did anybody else find anything concrete?

Incidentally, if they produce 4 times the power per kg of a conventional SI engine then they must be running some very fancy cooling rig.

Investing and especially licensing seemed fairly thorough.
