Quench water vs RO

Hi All,

Our pump supplier has mentioned that water entering the mechanical seal needs to be quench water. On our site we do have a RO system and want to make sure that Quench water is the same as RO water. Are they same or different?

RO water will work fine for quench water. The pH should not be below 6 units. See the link.

Confirm with the seal supplier.
