question about 2010 install

I currently have 2007 and will be upgrading to 2010. Is it better to uninstall 2007 and wipe the registry before installing 2010, or should I just install 2010 over 2007? Im running winXP pro.

I suggest removing 2007 first, then reboot.
Don't forget to turn off anti-virus before the new install.

Unless you really need an older version on the same machine, always do a clean install.
