Hello i'm currently doing master's thesis, I have a problem, currently i already finished run structure with VED in perform 3D (model VED = voigt model) but when i see energy dissipation in VED i really small compared to total energy from the ground motion, beam was dissipating energy the most compared to column and VED, since VED is energy dissipation devices it should be the one that dissipated energy the most right? where did i do wrong in this model? is it beacuse the orientation of the voigt model? beacause there is no orientation in fluid damper while etabs have u1 u2 u3 R1 R2 R3 in link option

and i want to ask more about my model i place VED in beam using pedestal, the pedestal doesn't have any hinge in compound, i just used cross section, is it true i modeled pedestal like this? and i used rigid beam on VED model (with veryh hgh E, A, I and no mass) between the simple elastic bar and fluid damper becaused i used vvoigt model. actually i already tested my model separately with the structure and used sinusoidal as a dynamic earthquake and i matched it with the hysteretic curve i had and its the same, where do you all think i worng in this model? i very much need input
