re Table 5.3(C), Roof External Pressure Coeff'ts, specifically '(R) for hip roofs';

The first column notes that for (R) the table is applicable for all roof slopes. How then do you select the correct coeff't? There are values for 10 deg etc. but not for < 10 deg.
Do we use the 10 deg values where (R) slope is < 10?

Table 5.3(C) is for external pressure coefficients for roofs of rectangular enclosed buildings where the downwind slope is greater than 10 degress and for hip roofs of any slope. Where the hip roof slope is less than 10 degrees, it would seem reasonable to assume the values for 10 degrees. Neither the standard nor the commentary offers any specific guidance on this.

Thanks dbuzz.

I agree that there doesn't appear to be any other interpretation possible, but it does seem suprising to me that the coeff't for the side and downwind roof planes is the same.
