I have a model and just did a sanity check on the joint reactions. First of all, I am not very familiar with modeling using shells, which is what my model consists of. I just took 4 elements and by hand determined what the out of plane shear V13 is at each joint. My thinking was that I wanted to verify that the same joint number that is part of 4 different elements had the same V13 reaction. This didn't turn out to be true. See my attached pdf. Shouldn't the V13's be the same at this point? If not, why? My only thought is that they are not the same since V13 is reported in k/ft and the element lengths may be different. Not sure about this though.
