2 questions:

1) is there a way to automatically put my dimension/annotation/centerlines etc. in another layer then my drawing views? Currently, the only way I can do this is select them manually and use the move to layer command.

2) When using the 2D exchange feature, is there a way to export multiple sheets to 1 dxf/dwg? Changing the option in the tab "data to export" doesn't seem to do anything.

1) - I think i wrote an Enhancement Request on this back in 1991,
or was it 1992 ? :) ......................

Set your layer to your annotation layer BEFORE adding them to your views. :)

I had quick and simple GRIP programs and icons to switch layers between drafting layer settings and model layer settings.

This works for some annotations, but if you are using the handy "automatic centerline" option they get created at the time you place the view.

I don't, so that won't be a problem. I guess changing the work layer between placing the views and placing the dimensions will be the easiest way to make it work.

Toost, if you still have the number of the ER I'd be happy to sign my name under it :)
