Hello all

I have questions:
1- is it a good idea to use a perforated spiral duct into an ofice space
2- any rul of thumb to select a water pump for a boiler

Thanks

1. Not really. Likely to get hot and cold spots as the duct dumps in the space.
2. Use the boiler output and your desired delta T to pick flow. Use the boiler catalogue to determine head loss... not really a rule of thumb, that's actually what you do.

My rule-of-thumb: I always rough-in between 7 and 13, then pick my units to match the detail design calculations.

I have two question; what will be the purpose of the water pump and what type of a boiler (process steam, heating steam or hot water)is it?
