Dear Collegues.

I have a document for review and it contains a quick fill connection, but what I see is a main supply connection and not a quick fill connection. Now I have never seen a quick fill connection. Can you help me on a sample of a quick fill with a main supply connection ( it is allowed here to connect it to the mains ).

see attachment.

If this is for a hydronic system, the fill is usually just below the expansion tank with a backflow preventer. Look in ASHRAE Guide in Hydronic Systems or in Carrier/Trane manuals.
I recommend a reduced pressure type, not just double check. Also, whoever is signing and sealing the drawings should review it.

double check valve looks funny, someone's probably thinking that it gives double protection?!

water supply company normally mandates way of connecting to water mains. backflow preventers are coming into play more and more, but they are not always mandated.

what you would need anyhow is service valve for isolation, port for pressure gauge connection, drain port...

The fill system is quite simple provided your water supply pressure exceeds your fill pressure. A small pumping unit is required otherwise.
