Hi,

I have been teaching production engineering in a college for past 3 years and have been practising Catia V5R14 on my own for last one year. Now i wish to switch on to mechanical engg design profession.

I have cleared the Catia V5R14 certification exams for specialist level. But am still unable to find a job in mechanical design since I don't have a working experience in Catia .

Now I am thinking of taking the Airbus certified method training course in Catia V5. Can anyone please inform me about Airbus certified Catia V5 Methods courses ? Or whether it will be really helpful, specially in my kind of situation.

Thanks and cheers

Hi,

Any subcontractor of Airbus has to send their peoples to a validation test at Airbus...

If you pass this validation test, (CATIA v4 or v5, it doesn't metter, depend on the project you will work on), the company will be able to get a user ID for you and to send you to other training courses (for VPM or whatever...) - which are also compulsory...

In this way, you will be able to work directly in their network.

Hard to answer to your question...Anyway, see for example

Regards
Fernando
