"Alodine time saver finish!!

Hi ,

Is there a finish with below description ?
"alodine coating , AAM10C12CC2A41 (215R1) with "time saver" finish"

i have received this note from my customer to update the drawing but m not able to find out any document which explains the same. Will anyone please help me to understand this ?..

Alodine is a HENKEL brandname for coatings for aluminum. Did you try to contact them or search on their website?

You need to go back to your customer and ask him exactly what he means by "Time saver finish",
the Alodine coating is a chemical conversion coating as mentioned by others.
The Time saver finish may be a belt sanded or brush sanded finish produced by a machine called a Time saver.
These machines are capable of a great variety of finishes.
