Probably after some strange work of one of my cooworker, my autocad show "x" button to close button bars extremly big.

How can I set the size in something more "normal"?

I enclosed a pic, that is more than one hundred words...

Looks like someone set the title bar settings in Windows to too big. Go to ControlPanel >> Display and then the Appearance tab. Under the Item pulldown, look for Active Tool Bar and then check the size. You can turn it down to get it back. Good luck.

It looks like the ACAD.MNU file has been played with ...
OR some other MNU file has been played with ....

It's not a windows function because I can see from your PICTURE that the MAIN AutoCAD "close" box (upper right corner)is fine.

Try re-installing AutoCAD or copying the MNU files from another "WorkStation" that is GOOD!

Good luck!

As rKeyTek well said it is not a Windows thing. At least is not a thing that can be configurated from the Display panel.

I checked the .mnu and I compared it with an other of a good workstation.
They were exatly the same. :(

I haven't tried to reinstall yet, but I am afraid that the problem is elsewere.

Thinkings about this, it began when my firm changed the monitor with a larger one.
It is possible that the new video driver chaged some settings?

I found the solution.
It was actually a Windows settings, but not the "active toolbar".
In my italian version is "Titolo della tavolazza", I ignore the english tag.

Thanks a lot anyway!
BYE!
