"Measure" function - Wildfire 4.0

Hi Guys,

I have just started using Wildfire 4.0. It was Wildfire 2.0 before this.

The problem I am having is with the measure function, as in " Analysis / measure ". I want to measure the distnce between two parallel surfaces on seperate parts. I find it very difficult to pick up a surface in a complex assembly. In 2.0 it was possible to choose surface beforehand, but this is not possible in 4.0.

Any tips on how to overcome this?

In the bottom left of the Dashboard is a drop-down box, use it to select Surface - this will force you to only select surfaces

I found it.
I knew it had to be something simple.
Wonder why they changed it. I never actually used that dashdoard in W2.0.
