What does this mean and how do I get rid of them?

Are the question marks out to the right? That usually means that you have in-context references in the part, but the document that the references are defined in is not open. For example, if you have a hole pattern in a plate that is defined in the context of an assembly but the assembly is not open, you will get question marks on that feature.

If you look in the help in regards to in-context you will probably find your answer.

Go to Help > SolidWorks Help Topics > Contents > FeatureManager Design Tree Conventions to see all the convention icons.

You, more than likely, have in-context relationships. Before you start removing them, you need to find out what/where. If you don't, you could end up in a heap of trouble.
As everyone above me mentioned, look in your help files. If, after that, you still have problems. Come back and let us know.
