Hi,
I have an assembly "123" having promote bodies of their children parts. When I do save as of that assembly with different name say "456" and try to add/delete any children component, it failed to save with an error saying "you dont have access to modify the structure of 123 assembly". is that something to do with promote bodies?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tested the result, if you convert the promote to a wave link, and then try to replace the component?

It would seem to me that you don't have access to the BOMView in TC... is it released or otherwise locked from you?

@gbangs I have access to BOM view in TC. But I am not sure if I can modify or it can be modified? I am new user to TC.

Did you create all these files? Sometimes the model may get checked in but the BOMView remains checked out (maybe by someone else or even by you, but still it needs to be checked in manually. Right click on BOMView and Check in, then try making your modifications in NX and Save. If it is checked out by someone else, they or admin will need to check in.
