Been a while since I've posted. So my hospital has erected a tent for COVID testing. The staff want it air conditioned. Any idea what the R value for waterproof fabric is? Has anyone got any tips or tricks for designing an A/C system for a tent?

Infiltration likely will be high, so the latent load will be high if you are in a humid climate. Add whatever medical equipment will be in there. and with the lack of prior experience, it will be a really bad calculation. the load will be much higher than for a hospital per ft². Providing power will be a challenge.

Ask the rental company and start with that. Add units if needed. Hope tent occupants have some tolerance for not-perfect conditions.
