Hi Everyone,

I have one query regarding radiography marking on ASME U stamped vessels.
As per client requirement Category A (Long seam) & Category B (Cir seam) of shell must be spot radiographed, i.e E =0.85.
But Category A joint of dish with seams must be fully radiographed, i.e E =1.

Kindly advise what will be the marking to be stamped on nameplate.

Regards,
Balaji Rai

RT-1 doesn't fit, since the Cat. A of shell is not fully Radiographed.
RT-2 doesn't fit, since the Cat. A of shell is not fully Radiographed.
RT-3 doesn't fit, since Cat. A of head is fully Radiographed.
That leaves you with RT-4.

If you actually have a head seam...

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand
