I'd like to know what a radius of gyration is (applied to human motion / body segment parameters) and how to compute it

Dear collegue,
You have to be much more specific about it. I think this notion refers to a mechanical model of human body's kinematics. Therefore, a multitude of axis can be taken into consideration, having in mind that all mobile parts of the human body are rotating , in 3D, relative to their insertion point. Thus, please identify the precise movement you are referring to. The rest should be easy.
