Dear colleagues,
I am in the process of designing the grounding grid of railway substations and prior to that I need the short circuit calculations as it has not been given.
The high-speed ac railway is fed by a two phase, 60 MVA transformer of 400 kV to 2x27,5 kV ucc=10% that supplies energy for up to 12 autotransformer substations, at 10 km of distance of each other. The autotransformers are 15 MVA, 55/27,5 kV ucc=1,2%.
I have done some calculations following IEC 60909 and have some experience using PSS Sincal but I have no experience with railways.
The railway follows the behaviour shown in chapter 20 of the Areva Protection Guide.
Any help would be helpful.
Thanks.
