Hello guys.
I am experimenting with ram concept on how to use it for eurocode based post tensioned slab design. The program allows three design approaches. Stress, crack and stress plus crack.TR43 is referenced specially for flat slab design based on stress limits. Everything is clear about the design approach and it is eurocode compliant.
Stress based design works fine. But, when crack is included in either of the two options the program displays 7.3 failure. What doesn't make sense to me is cross section Audit shows a crack width way below the limit( 0.2 mm).I checked every envelop but it doesn't display any failure, it just states at the end 7.3. is there anything that makes the program display failure in status plan while the audit is showing everything to be ok. The failure is in frequent load combination.
Please check the attached pdf file.
Note:
1. Balanced load is included in the load combination
2. The design is okay with ACI and stress limit eurocode approach.
Thanks!
