I would like to analyze the random vibration of a transversely excited beam that is subjected to a static load. I am using a PSD analysis. I was able to conduct Linear Perturbation to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the pre-stresses beam. However, when I attempt to run the PSD analysis, I am getting the error: RST file is not from a modal analysis.

I understand that the modal information is logged in the RSTP file. Is there any way to work around this in APDL to run the PSD analysis?

There are some versions of ANSYS that can help you
